White Elves

Long ago, in the First Age, the White Elves separated from the Mist Elves and went out into the world in search of a new homeland. They travelled for many years like a nomadic people until they finally found a suitable place. Not far from the humans they built a new and magnificent city.

Anor’imlad, the realm of the White Elves, was born.

White Elves are considered especially beautiful, sensitive, artistic, and musically gifted. Legends claim they can look directly into the hearts of other beings. In truth, they maintain a close connection to nature and possess great empathy.

Like their relatives, the Mist Elves, they possess the gift of immortality, which in some is reflected in pride and arrogance.

White Elves are somewhat taller than Mist Elves. From a distance they differ from humans mainly through their slender build; up close, their smooth features and nearly flawless skin stand out.

Many White Elves pursue knowledge and musical arts. Mages, Minstrels, and Priests are therefore well known among them; the Canon also permits additional class combinations that are listed authoritatively in the Compendium.

The inhabitants of Anor’imlad are considered peaceful and live in harmony with nature. Yet they are not defenceless in war. They are said to have outstanding Forest Hunters whose accuracy and survival skills are without equal.
