Lord of Madness and Father of Chaos

Tar’madân, whom many call only the mad god, is the father of chaos and of the evil hidden within it. Everything created by the gods of light is said to have gained a dark reflection through him: what blossomed withered beneath his hand, and what was surrounded by light grew dark under his gaze. He is regarded as the lord of the Shadow Realm beyond the comprehensible world.

He commands the creatures of the night and extends his protection to those whose hearts are filled with darkness, anger, and hatred and who have turned away from the paths of light.

Since the First Age, Tar’madân has waged his struggle against the deities of light. The old accounts say that he does not shrink from intrigue, betrayal, or murder when they serve his aim of turning the world into a place of darkness and establishing his realm of eternal chaos.
