Undead

These unfortunate creatures know neither fear nor mercy and are usually bound to the world by dark magic. Necromancers know how to summon and call upon the undead, although this craft is regarded with suspicion in many parts of the continent.

Dragons

Dragons are among the oldest beings in the world, yet little is known about them. Their different kinds vary greatly, and some scholars attribute magical abilities to the oldest dragons without being able to provide reliable proof.

Humanoids

Besides humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Hobbits, and Kender, other humanoid peoples live in Oldôr. The entries in this group provide an overview of some of these beings.

Demons

In the old accounts, demons are merciless enemies of life. They seek to enter the world and destroy the creations of the gods. The collected knowledge about them is intended to help adventurers face them prepared.

Creatures

Oldôr is home to many unusual living beings. This section is not concerned with ordinary domestic animals or wildlife, but with creatures distinguished by unusual danger, intelligence, or extraordinary abilities.

Animals

The animals of the world provide food, clothing, and companionship, but not all are harmless. Those who hunt should remember that predators and hunters live among them as well and deserve respect.
