Bestiary
Werwölfe
Name not yet translated
A howl in the night, claws sharpened against trees, glowing eyes in the darkness. No one knows how werewolves first came to be; some claim they are the result of a curse cast upon mortals by the dark goddess Shâedar. In some places people vanish without a trace, while elsewhere the victims and destruction can be seen after a village or farm has been attacked. Werewolves hunt exclusively at night, taking game, livestock, and almost anything that is not faster than they are. Their tremendous endurance, claws, and dagger-like teeth make them fearsome hunters. Alone or in small packs they roam certain regions spreading fear and terror, and it is not uncommon for a bounty to be placed on their heads.
