Chaosdrachen

Description

Ancient writings in the temples and libraries of priests and scholars tell of chaos dragons, creatures said to come from the same age in which our world was formed from chaos. If those accounts are true, they would be among the oldest beings in existence, surpassed in age only by the gods themselves, and we must assume that they are immensely powerful. What is known comes from old texts whose truth has never been verified, but their claims deserve mention. In size and power, chaos dragons are said to overshadow all their draconic kin; when they spread their wings, the sky is said to darken and storms to rise. They are described as cunning creatures wielding mighty magic and even possessing speech. Songs claim that they can assume the form of mortals and walk among them unnoticed. Unfortunately, that is where our knowledge ends, for no reliable witness has ever seen one of these dragons.
