Wolf
Name not yet translated
In the north of the continent, wolves are often depicted on family crests, for the people of the north regard them as symbols of strength and as omens of success. Wolves hunt in packs led by a dominant animal. “The strength of the wolf is the pack, and the strength of the pack is the wolf.” This northern saying gives some idea of why these hunters are so successful. They generally keep their distance from humans, but when winters are long and harsh they lose their fear and may take the risk of attacking a person.
