Witch Beast

Witch Beasts, also called Blood Witches, are slaves to their own dark power. They draw their magic from their own blood or that of other living beings. Through blood rituals they cover their enemies in sinister magic. Such rituals require time and preparation; they are a tribute Blood Witches must pay to unleash their power.

Witch Beasts were never welcome. They were feared and hunted, and over time they withdrew farther from the rest of the world. There they made plans and devoted themselves to researching their rituals.

In open battle they cannot unleash their greatest powers spontaneously because a significant part of their blood magic relies on prepared rituals. With enough time, preparation, and the required tribute, however, their effects can be devastating.

Blood Witches generally live alone in old, decaying forests and prefer to remain undisturbed. Travellers are wise to avoid such places, for living beings may be sought as tribute for powerful rituals.

They can gain immense power because they know how to use the blood and life force of their enemies for dark purposes.

Witch Beasts have devoted themselves to darkness. Tar’madân and his daughter Shâedar are regarded as the powers that support their dark designs.
